Hi there! 👋

I am a PhD student at University of Maryland, College Park, working with Prof. Rachel Rudinger and Prof. Hal Daumé III. I earned my master’s degree from University of Southern California, where I worked with Prof. Nanyun Peng on natural language processing (NLP) research.

Broadly, I am interested in human-centered, socially aware and culturally aware NLP. I am passionate about learning languages from social perspectives and exploring intersections between linguistics and social psychology. I have been working on commonsense reasoning and bias and fairness in NLP.

Currently, I am learning how to make AI help people think positively. 🌿
